I once thought a little about using 350's. I didn't pursue it, for no real reason.
A quick measurement gives around 10+ mm of interference with the tail blades. With the correct belt, it doesn't seem like a horrible idea to slip the boom out some at each end. I might cut a narrow ring (3-4mm ?) from a spare boom to stick in the tailcase, and make up the rest up front.
There was someone who made several posts about the 350's he was using. For whatever reason, he did not seem bothered by the potential contact with the tail blades. In mostly gentle upright flight it may not be a too serious risk. An unusual conditions hard landing could be a problem though.
Will be interesting to hear if others have done the extension, or you go for it.
