OK. So I found what I wanted advertised here and purchased it. I sent my CC info and my account was tapped for the amount. I got an e-mail saying it was shipped and even included a tracking #. That was on Monday. On Wednesday night I find out the items NEVER SHIPPED and the seller who had taken my money DIDN'T HAVE THE ITEM TO SEND! I was offered a refund which I have yet to see. To make it worse it's now too late to get what I need elsewhere and my heli won't be flyable this weekend for the Phoenix fun fly.
Should I be pissed? Should I give the sellers name out to warn others? I'm just so pissed that this guy would LIE like that.
I guess I'm just venting but, what would you do?

Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.

I would give them a chance to fix it but if they are ignoring your emails or calls throw the name on out.

I'd not be shocked if we had heard it before.

Hi BH,
I sent an e-mail last night and have not heard back yet today. The money is still gone from my account. The tracking # still says not shipped.

Was this a personel seller or a online hobby shop. I have problems dealing with personel sellers...I've heard too many of this stories...these people make it almost impossible for us honest people to sell our stuff. We should make all of these peoples names known to everyone.

Did you pay with Paypal? If so, go to their resolution center and file a claim. That tends to speed the refunds up.

If you've already attempted to contact the seller (company I assume or how else could they take credit cards since you didn't mention Paypal) then your next step is to contact your CC company. Immediately!

Some companies can and will reverse the charges.

Have all your documentation ready when you call.

The original post said CC so I'd call them (the credit card company) straight away. Most vendors are scared of credit card companies like we are scared of the IRS

The only thing I can't find locally is a sensor for a Multi-gov or simular governor.

Thanks for the advice guys. Yes it is a business and one I thought was reputable. It's not a large amount of money and my CC company is great about such things should I need them. This is more about principal. This guy took payment for something he didn't have, sent an e-mail that said it was shipped, and further misled me by issuing a tracking number for a package that never existed. I'm looking out the window for the mailman and this guy never sent anything! Had he just been honest I could have ordered it from someone else. What a let down.

Keep in mind that often the tracking number will say 'not shipped' right up to the time it is delivered. All may not yet be lost hopefully. Where is it shipped from? To?
