a friend of mine is selling his trex he bought last year and its has less than 10 flights on it, never crashed, thinking about picking it up just pondering if its a good deal, i have been out of the game for over a year and now looking to get back in, here is whats included:

trex 450se v1 with stock motor and esc
hs-56hb on cyclic
hs-56hb and 401 on tail
carbon boom
custom painted canopy
jr 8103 radio with 770 reciever
4 dn power battery pack
large align case
trublood swash leveler

$550 for everything rtf, do you think it is a good deal, i know i would have to change cyclic servos and tail servo but for now i am not into 3d so should be sufficient for me.......

doesn't sound like a bad deal to me!

keep in mind, 2.4 is the way to go, so you have to wiegh the options. if your going to go 2.4 or your planning on it, see if you can grab it less the tx and rx. then pick yourself up a dx7 and ar6100 and you'll have the catsass setup!

Yea if you go with S76 Mech you'll be the balls. Na you'll be the balls and the taint!! I just purchased a new SE V2 went ahead and got the DX 7 with AR7000, GY401 and JR Servos cyclic and tail and I think that's it but with my purchase new it was around $800.00 minimum so going your route with a relatively new heli for $550 is not a bad deal at all! Go for it! I wish I had that kind of deal offered to me.

I would go for it as long as it is the SE with all the CNC bearing blocks and holders, the JR T-Rex kit has come down quite a bit from its original $150 price tag, its the JR DS 285s and 3400 tail servo. I am all for Spektrum, the DX6i is a great radio, has all the features of the DX7, plus servo monitor, flies all the RXs, and goes for $189 with a D2M2 6200 RX, and I believe they offer a kit with your choice of the 6100 or 6100E, but I don't know the price. Keep an eye out for them here on RR, some of the blade 400 guys are sticking to there radios and selling the DX6i. Spektrum also has a nice little inline voltage regulator for 4.8v to the gyro and tail servo, keeping your cyclic at 6v. I loved my 450, and now I'am enjoying my 600, good luck with it.
