If you have any personal experience with these dampers please let me know how long they last and what type of flying you do...

Thx.

It's easy to find an excuse to do wrong. Hard is not to find an excuse to do right.

Never try the K&B, but my Infinavation lasted for 6 cases of fuel until I broke one of the black o ring. The red brushings were still good. Anyway, I replaced them all. I do some 3D.

I've flown them both, they are both good but I like the K&B oranges better.

The Infinavation's have worked well for me and they don't seem to change with temperatures/weather. I did try the orange K&B's a few weeks back but had some wobble at lower head speeds and auto's. The K&B's also seem to change more with temperatures/weather. I went back to the Infinavation's,they seem to have a good track record for dampners.

I am currently using the align set that come with the sleve. I also bought the orange k&b and the infini with that shim pack they sell. can you guys tell me if i use k&b do i keep sleeve? If i use infini do i use sleeve and shims. What i'm trying to get at is, Tell me your set ups that work for hard 3-d. Please save me the time of having to tear it down and experimenting. By the way I broke down and bought Trex 600 about two weeks ago. So it is my first align but not my first heli. I am just a guy who prefers flying more than working on the birds.
Thanks

Mike

K&B orange hands down!!!
ditto. Worked great for me. Made the head a lot more solid feeling.
I didn't notice any real wobble either.

I'm using the K&B orange and they seem to be good and hold up pretty well under hard 3D.

Orange= hardest
Yellow= hard
Green= medium

I like them. Both are good. No wobbles on mine in the cold either.

K&B fly great and don't break in a crash like my Infins did. Better price too.

+2 for Infinavations with the Align sleeve. I just replaced the o-rings after about 100 flights and there was still very little noticeable movement in the grips.
