logo 500
tango 45/10 or 45/09
jazz 80/6/18 on 6s, 80/10/32 above
good pinion meshing
and a light fully loaded machine

maybe it's not the hottest, but it's one

my logo 14 with a 45/08 on 8s with a 55-10-32 came alive with 25C packs.

I think a 24-3 would be even more powerful, havent tried yet.

45/08 is the "heavy" one for the L14
I believe some people run it on 10s, with a small pinion count

I use to fly mine on a tame 45/06 on 9s and 13 tooth if I remember well, with stock mikado blades

the 45/08 is on the practical edge with 10s and in a L14 its a good way to shear mains and need to use every upgrade part made for it to keep it in one piece over a season or two

being half a pound lighter than 10s L-14s and with a deeper 'C' than 6s trex600s is nice too

here is a vid of a 45/08 on 8s with an old 10C pack, very modest setup...with a 25C pack it rocks with hot 6s and 10s birds just fine

Here is a Neu on 9s Trex600.

Watch at YouTube

But, 6s Gaui Motor H550 setup below is just as hot.
We'll be testing Neu 1507 on it soon.

Watch at YouTube

They both blow away 6s Trex600. However, the setup below does it with total cost under $1000 excluding the batteries.

Thanks Comet! that was 140:12 with 550s and 100% flat line on an original TP 10c 8s pack...about 1000W effective, not hot at all but it really came alive with new batts which I have no vids of yet..

on a 25c 8s 3850 and same gearing it gets 1500W effective and I run 580s, almost 2 deg more pitch and a 75% governed curve instead now...theres more left in it too but not in me

BTW those new vids of Justin blew me away, he is amazing!

Mirror:

Unfortunately ours did cause a damage to an eye. I truely hope that you won't have to face that situation in your life time.

Is there a point you are trying to get across other than the fact that we had an accident that we have to live with everyday. It is hard enought as it is. I don't think your reminder was necessary.

What is more amazing is that you are not man enough to say it to my face but had to create a new fake id to do it. You are a truely brave and a kind soul.

i just started flying a the neu 1515/2.5dfh with cc 85 hv on 6s. this is plenty of power for hard 3d. a lot of performance is in the hands of the pilot, with good collective management this is a killer set-up

Thanks for the responces guys and keep em comin'. Just finishing up my Raven conversion to run on 10s A123 w/ Tango 45-08 so I really dont know why I asking but Ive been thinking about a smalller lighter "real" electric bird and have heard good things about some 6S setups. I have been a Century guy and the Swift looks good but I think it may be time to branch out for my next bird......
PS real nice vids! One day when I grow up, I hope to fly like that!!!
One more thing, I just hate it when people turn a thread........I dont know the details and I hope its all just a miscommunication, BUT
if you dont have something constructive to say........Just dont say nothin'! (so said my MOM and shes a Saint!)

RIP ROMAN
