hi rr folks my question is ho could i keep the rpm ahead of the collectof with a ccpm system

i tried lower value throttle end point and higer pitch travel
the problem with a ccpm versus a single pitch servo is that you dont know the end point value if anybody have a clue please fell free to awnser
thanks

Just use a servo thats rated at the same or higher speed than the collective/cyclics.

i've found that if you use a higher speed servo on the pitch than the throttle that you can bog the engine down , just use the same servo or a tail servo , with a tail servo it should be quicker than your ccpm servos so your throttle will be ahead of the collective , you may find that you need to reset your trottle curve
or you could use the cheats way and fit a govener

The answer is the CY Active Throttle Govenor (ATG)
Curtis designed this govenor to solve this very problem, a lag in Head-speed Rpm before the govenor reacts and opens the throttle.

Steps:

1. Set up your throttle curve as if you didn't have a gov at all, for 3D, the standard " V " config for 10+ / 10- pitch.

2. Select your desired head speed (on the Vibe I run 1950rpm), make sure the ATG is in the ATG mode (it can also be work as a normal govenor).

And your done. The throttle servo speed is critical, I use an 8700G and I run 9000s' on cyclic.

So when there is a quick change in pitch the govenor doesn't wait for the RPM to slow down as it passes through the manually set throttle curves. For want of a better term, it's 'predictive'

You don't necessarely need to know the Travel value of the pitch system.

Using a 50 to 65% Travel on the throttle should give it a good advantage, keeping in mind the throttle sees very little load compared with the pitch.

Only if you have a high res servo though, you will lose resolution which may affect throttle settings, best answer is to use equivalent or better than the eCCPM servos. And keep throttle endpoints above 80%

You don't need too, is the short answer..

It's all a load of rubbish!!!

Most people don't realise that the only time the throttle needs to keep up with the collective is in idle-up conditions.

For the same given end-points (ATV'S), the throttle would only ever travel 15-20 degrees (average 100-65% curve), whereas the collective would travel 45-55 degrees, through positive/negative pitch travel.

Watch your throttle servo in idle-up curve compared to the collective servo, it barely has to do anything.
