i had a 8301 and the throttle stick moved a full "hash" mark further than my just purchased XP9303. i read that JR put a limiter inside the 9303 and shortened the throw of the throttle stick. It's too short for me as I'm used to my SIM and 8301 stick movement.

The plastic limiter inside the case can be removed easily with a screw so the throw is farther.
Will that effect pitch/throttle or would it be easily programmed to incorporate the farther throw of the stick??

having only a year under my belt, I had enough trouble programming my 8301 and don't want to struggle with my new one.

As the "end points" of the stick throws is calibrated with the limiters in position, removing them will just give you a start and end dead spots.

IF you are going to remove them, you will need to have it recalibrated to take the new positions into account.
