I have a phoenix 80 on a helicopter. My TX endpoints are set for +-150. When the heli is powered up, the ESC will arm at low throttle, but will not go solid when the stick is all the way up. I used the castle link to set the ESC up as Heli: Fixed endpoints.

I'm doing this with the motor (Kontronik Kora 15-12) unplugged. Does it have to be plugged in in order for the LED to go solid when the stick is all the way up?

Thanks,

Balbs

You need the motor in governor mode I think. I don't know about "fixed", but it wouldn't surprise me as I don't think the ESC can get out of "startup" mode without the motor.
