Hi,

The batteries i am using for my T Rex 450S GF have the following specs

2000 mAh
12C
11.1 V

Is the discharge rate too low for this heli? If so could this cause the motor to cut in and out (i am currently experiencing this issue)? most batteries i see for this heli are 20-25C.

Thanks

Yes. And yes. For mild flight you'd likely not notice, but with any sort of tossing around, those momentary loads which exceed your battery's capacity to discharge can cause hiccups.

Your batts should be able to discharge (C-rating) at a rate very near to your ESC's max possible amperage draw for a particular heli.
