ceramics are not brittle, they are very strong, disapate heat well, nearly frictionless, and best of all they do not generate any radio noise (i.e. glitching)i replaced all the high speed bearings in my trex 450 with all ceramic bearings and never had any glitching issues, and i got a little more flight time also, im preaty sure they would hold up fine in the head, pullys, tail and gear box, they work fine in high end nitro r/c car motors, and they spin 40,000 rpms' plus

dude..wheres my heli?????ama#902014

Ceramics are a good idea for high-speed applications including rear bearings on OS Hyper50's. Your helis will require less maintenance as well. The Greaser is the icing on your cake.
