I made two small hovering with two different set of blades and recorded with my micropower.

This is hovering with the NHP 620mm

This is hovering with the V blades TST 620mm

I'm not going to draw any conclusions, just posting datas. The discussion is open gents!
More testing to comes...

It seems that NHP are less "hungry" in power but could be interesting to compare and see result for some manoeuvers...

I have not test TST Vblades yet, but may be someone could tell more about feeling difference between these 2 blades.

did you test one after the other without recharing the battery? from the data it seems that the voltage during the vblade test was higher...maybe im wrong but a higher voltage will cause more amps to be drawn and consequently more watts right? It seems you tested the v's first and then the other sets...maybe the voltage of the pack was just leveling out and hence the diffenerce....rpm would be useful too.

very interesting thread though...

I recharged the batt. a bit before doing the TST test, but voltage level don't make much difference as the Gov throttle back to keep rpm steady. I graphed a 10min hovering before and power required form start to finish was the same.

My next will be FFF, then climbouts and flips.
I'll probably test the MAH615 next...
As for the rotortech, if someone can lend me set I'll test them

I don't think I'll get the RT anytime soon...
I wish I had a set of the older Vs so I see if their claims are true or hype.

I tried V blades Glossy and TST and the RT have less drag. Also Sab are good.
