I bought a 2400mah 4.8V NiCd battery.

I have my stock Futaba charger that came with my radio. The charger will output 100ma. Is it ok to use this charger (I know it will take about 30 hours for a full charge)?

Is it possible that the battery will never be fully charged?

You will eventually get to full charge.
The self discharge is less than the 100ma that your charger can deliver.

It will charge, it depends on how much time you've got! What you need is a real charger and not the slow MAH charger that came with your radio! Read the face of the charger and what is the MAH charge rate??? Let us know! Then we can give you more advice on is it right!

I was using the wall charger to until I bought a sirius charger. I chargers fast. Now when at the field I will fly 2 tanks and then recharge. The reason I got a better charger was the fear of overcharging because the wall charger will never cut off.
