This is why I was so impatient waiting for the mail Monday. It just ran late, and therefore so did I (getting to work). Also got a new main gear.

Question though - should I be concerned since I used the original blade grip bolt instead of the new one? The new one was a bit bigger and wouldn't go through the holes in the blades. The blade grips are also a little wider so I had to torque them down a bit more.

And what the heck are those brass bushings that don't seem to go anywhere for?

Yes, another purple-headed warrior marches into battle.

But, unbeknownst to the enemy, the evil Dr. Gravity, this time it is none other than King Arex II himself who has donned the lavender helm of the legendary Grapis Apis.

Nothing to be concerned about, I did the same thing and its been fine for well over 100 flights that way.

No idea what the bushings are, I've got three sets of the alloy blade grips and none of them came with the bushings. Since I've never seen them I can only guess, but do they fit tightly on the larger grip bolt? Maybe you're supposed to drill out the blade and put the bushings in to fit the larger bolt???

The bushings came in the center holder package. On another forum it was speculated that they had something to do with the BeltCP, but it seems nobody uses them or even knows what they are.

Maybe a blade insert, but doubtful. They're nowhere near long enough to go through a blade.

I drilled out the woodies' holes for the new bolt, but I'll use the old bolt on the carbons. Don't plan on drilling those out.
