Someone please help with the translation..... is there supposed to be a period between "the tank is getting pressurized" followed by a question, "when refueling....etc...." ???

If so, how do you know the tank is getting pressurized ?? And how are you relieving the tank pressure prior to re-fueling ???

If after a partial hover you disconnect the fuel line at the carburator without first relieving the tank pressure, you'll get fuel spraying in your face !!!

It sounds too rich and the headspeed is too low because of that. try setting the main needle to 1 3/4 turns out,any more and it will be too rich.Make sure the glow plug is new, just because it glows dosent mean it's good and cause it to die.

You can also PM me for a "private" lesson as well... I won't charge much !

At least I'm asking for some clarification so as to provide the fellow RR member the best answer possible.....

I hope he doesn't get his panties all up in a bunch as you do when I ask you to clarify your questions !!! LOL !!!

It's working!
What a small world, I actually ran into "flyingpools" (I'm so bad with names, I'm sorry I have already forgotten your name!) at the field today, and we got his YS tuned up and running fine. It's still nice and rich (plenty of smoke) for breakin, but it starts instantly and idles well. Seems to have plenty of stones too, based on some quick pokes. I dialed in some expo for him too, since it was wicked quick on cyclic and yaw. I flew out most of a tank, just tooling around in low slow figure 8's, and all seems to be as it should be. Unfortunately, his first flight attempt didn't go so well and ended up with a tipover costing the usual boom/blades/shafts. Hang in there dude, and get yourself a hula hoop and some dowel rods and make some training gear for that beast! That would have saved your bacon today, and will let you get your skills built up with less carnage.
