If this were to be in Japan, they would have to kneel down before the crowd in shame.

Thats an habbit I would like to see in the western world. Pitty we don't do that stuff.

Public hanging is another option though. We used to do that alot a few centuries back

They'll all be there flying their Align 500,600 and maybe 700 proto machines I don't think it's warm enough to bring out: the Aurora's. Although you know they need to do more longevity testing to make sure this is the best RC helicopter ever produced

How long does it take for God sake?
Rome was built quicker than this!
Just goes to show that the last dead line was total BS.

Going on a month and a half now since avantrc states by end of Januray when it was supposedly definately promised to be out. I haven't heard one word of any thing there sorts since then. Of course some boneheads think people aren't still due an apology. I wouldn't really care about this bs if it weren't due to one of my friends who always fed into the deceit now he's sitting on electronics that are past their warranty and they are still in boxes. I don't think its a secret this isn't just testing anymore, its been way way too long, and the lies omg. I tell people not even related to the hobby about this saga and they think I'm making it up its so bad! One of them said ,"Talk about bitting the hand that feeds"

Just adopt my policy. I don't consider buying a heli until it's been out at least a month. Then you don't have the aggravation of being an unpaid field tester or disappointed when it doesn't come out on time. I don't care how many pro pilots test a product. It's not truly tested until the unwashed masses get their grubby little hands on it and throw them in the air. That's the one true test of a product. I saved some real money in this hobby and have enjoyed it a lot more by not being the first to jump in line for the latest fad.

Something to consider about the sponsored test pilots. A talented pilot will make a POS fly like it's on rails. That is because they are talented! It's the same in all walks of life, I use to be a semi-pro drummer and I could make even the crappiest drum sets and cymbals sound good. It's all the same concept. The muscle memory that comes with having skills is going to shine through in anything you fly. Flying the Aurora will not make you a better pilot. Practicing with ANY machine will make you a better pilot. One could even go so far to argue that learning a maneuver on a less capable machine would make you more talented then the person that can only perform it on the hot rod latest and greatest....Just my 2 cents.

Mark;
You have a good Rhythm. That is the reason you can make the drums sound good. You can make a bucket sound good. Many of us do not have that beat inside us. I think you born with it.
Heli is much easier.

Sorry to bring updates so sporadically but we are completely dedicated to the release work.

We are currently packing kits while sorting out last minute details. There were some parts that required modifications and that delayed even further our work but most are taken care of.

We keep our dealers updated as much as we can as to where we are but some time ago we decided to stay out of the online world until we are done so that we don't get distracted. Until we are done with the release this month you won't see much of us online. I'll be at the Vegas funfly so I hope to see many of you there. In the meantime we'll get back to work.

Augusto.

Too bad he's not dedicated to the customer the way he's supposedly dedicated to getting it out...

Anyone remember the vid that was posted? It sure looked like they were starting to pack kits(parts were being bagged) at that time...

Wow, so the dealers are lying when they say they know nothing?
but some time ago we decided to stay out of the online world until we are done so that we don't get distracted.
Is he one of those compulsive liars that believes if he says something enough times, the masses will believe it? We've heard that you pay no attention to the online stuff over and over again. To anyone but the most brain-dead individual, this is a clear lie. Quit taking your customers as fools.

I(and many others) will believe it when I see it.

You might want to bring a public apology with you to the Vegas funfly because you owe it to many people.

Mikado Logo 400, hopefully ready by spring.
