And make a public appology. And offer the kit at a substantial discount to anyone who was adversely affected by this situation.

How does not coming out with a model helicopter adversely affect anyone or anything?

I'm just wondering.

Specifically those who 1. sold their helis in anticipation of the coming great Aurora so they could purchase one or 2. those who purchased electronics/engines etc... that either sat around and depreciated or had to be eventually used on another machine(s) 3. those who put the deposit and heard nothing and were basically treated poorly (not a big deal but still adversely affected). Basically anyone who lost time or money. Luckilly it wasn't me but I do feel for those who lost out. Not the biggest deal in the world but if I were "affected" as noted before I would want an appology at the least.

rchelichop, trust me Mr. Moore knows what's going on. I think he was just pointing out that a toy helicopter is not the most important thing in the world, which has some validity. Somedays though I might argue that.

You may be surprised to know that I do read an occassional post on this thread. It does seem to me that despite the fact that a lot of folks may have been foolish enough to procure a lot of support equipment for a helicopter that they can't buy yet, the situation doesn't rise to the level where Auggie would be required to issue an apology because folks purchased gear for what to this point is unarguably "vaporware".

No apology necessary for lying and purposely mis-leading? BS.

TMoore has been around a while and is greatly respected in the heli community but I havea to agree with fiveo on this one. I don't think think he owes any a kit at a substantial savings but we do deserve an honest answer and an apology for the lies and deception.

TMoore,
If you told me you would have a helicopter ready for me to purchase next week but were still making excuses months later, this would be o.k.? I know part of the blame would fall on me for not moving on, but how long could you do this to people without loosing the respect you've earned.

medflight,

I agree with all of the frustrations that are being expressed on this forum about this situation but how far does the manufacturers liability have to extend before personal responsibility takes hold? There's no question that Auggie owes everyone an explanation, at a minimum. There's no question that he owes an explanation to everyone that believed his BS but a public apology because someone went out and bought gear prior to a machine actually hitting the street is a bit much IMHO but that's me. Wait for the machine to actually show up, buy it and then get support equipment to finish it. It seems fairly simple to me.

Aurora, Will can't see them from San Jose ---> Alaska!
Hello All,

As usual Terry is shooting straight! The good news is all of that equipment people have been storing away for Big Foot aka Aurora can be used for a Vibe 90, N9 or other such fine helicopter!

Agusto showed us the Aurora CAD drawings years ago, hey Agusto put the Manual in PDF format on line so we can see if the care in writing the manual matches what you say you are doing with the Kit!

Happy Flying,

Others also can build good helis and you actually can buy them, wow!I doubt if Augustos heli would have made me a better pilot, but I could not care less now.I am closing this chapter and opening the N9 book and guess what, I think I will enjoy that and never look back at If, when, could have maybe, alas over!

Regards Pete

Of course the tent will be there.
It will be packed meticulously on the Sat. before the event by people who will be taking extraordinary steps to ensure folding quality and correctness.
Of course the tent may not be there on time if the tent is too similar (legally) to another mfgr's tent. But it will get there SOOOOOOOOOON!

This is a lesson alot of people have learned. IMO an apology is due because of because of all the lies. 4-5 weeks after IRCHA '06, Christmas '06, couple weeks after Christmas '06, Feb. '07 pre-orders (I know Augusto didn't do this but he damn sure didn't tell retailers it would be over a year before the kits released), Jan. '08; no way all of this was miscalculations. He knew good and well most, if not all wouldn't happen when he put it out there.
