Got out of work a little early today, the sun was shining with just a slight breeze and gusting a little... I grabbed a 450 and went out side to get some slow flying in. It was a perfect flight with nothing funny happpening.. So I brought out the 600 and gave that a whirl, another perfect flight with everything doing just what it should... Decided to get some more batteries, I got 4 flights on the 450's and 3 on the 600... with just one little mishap, I stuffed the hughes 500E in the 6' high snow bank and broke the front canopy on it. It was getting late and my depth perception was fading fast....
I guess it's time to get the jet ranger done and on the heli and start the Huey project. This is the first time I have wrecked a scale body in a couple of years.....
It was still a great day of flying....

I think we all see this kind of thing as normal stuff that happens sometimes.

You've got the right attitude.

You use your stuff.

None of us would want to see our helis get dusty and scratch free sitting in our basement or something.

I very seldom get upset about a crash, it happens and it's part of the hobby. If you think your never going to loose a bird your very mistaken and probably in the wrong hobby.. I was really suprised I didn't even break a blade or anything else I think if it was warm out the canopy might have survived too. The plastic gets very brittle in the cold weather. Time to build another scale body that is all...

You enjoy that "build stuff" anyway. I've seen your workshop.

Sorry to hear about the crash Was it the T-Jive? Oh well at least the mechanics are ok You are right crashing IS a part of flying, sometimes things just happen

Depleting the world of parts, one crash at a time!!

yes it was the T-Jive but it was only the front canopy section which I'm sure I can get a replacement from Darthdrk for it...
