not to be too far off here but, Simmer is talking about pinching with pliers and making them fit, just for giggles one day i tried to make one turn freely by pinching it slightly while on a ball, then i tried the next one , and the next one, every time i pinched the link, just as i was getting it to do anything, the pliers would slip and smash, the link would crack, i wouldn't suggest trying it if you don't have any extra links around. I used my jr sizer on my trex, and its too big, but i used it anyway, no ones ever mentioned it but you should size the links, shouldn't you? they were too tight to leave be, so i guessed the lesser of two evils.

If you find a full turn adjustment on the double links is to great, then adjust the mixing arm to swash one turn. It will be a smaller adjustment.

Yup thats the way, on the trex450 a full turn was too much, you can compensate by countering with other links.

I prefer the Rocket City Links too, they take a half turn and they last much longer than any other link I have tried.

Hello
I have an 9c super raido with bls 451. I was able to get my paddles at 0 pitch and 14/+- to be levled, but when you move between the points the paddles wiggle. is there a way you can remove this ccpm interaction between -14 to 0 and 0 to 14 not only at the 3 points.

With a 9C it is VERY hard. The 9C is very limited with its CCPM Mixes and its latency is high. I ditched mine in favour of the DSX9 and there is no comparison.

Using the FMP Leveling tool I programmed the interaction out with the 9c,, but this was static, on the bench. Dynamic and latency issues are impossible to remove but its really close.

Why not go JR x9303? If you look around you can get it for 529.00 without servos.

You may find you like it much better

I second the X9303 option for US pilots. I have no regrets in switching to JR/Spektrum!

Just so you guys know, I set up a new Raptor 30 for a buddy last week, and the links on the head were reversable, finally they did something right!

The grey JR ball links with the eyebrows on them are usable in either direction and they are kick butt to boot. A bit expensive maybe, but the best that I have ever used, speaking of which I need to get a few more...

When the x9303 goes on sale, and it will again you have to watch for it, it will go for 529.00

Ill look around, but if it went on sale once, it will again.
will send a PM to Knight if I find one.

I hate having to compensate for one way links by using the mixing arm links. granted it will fix a small problem with the pitch links but we strive to get the rod ends all perfect so that the mixing arms are level etc etc when building. If I can get a half turn on the pitch links most of the time it solves blade tracking whereas one turn can be too much. With a rocket city link on the mixing arm rods I can turn that a half turn to get a minute adjustment for blade tracking if the half turn on the pitch links fail. A half turn on the mixing arm/swash links is a very small amount but I'll avoid it if possible. Often it's unavoidable though.

One way links suck. I wont put them on backwards.

when its so close a 1/2 turn will fix it flip the blades. Move one main blade to the other side and the other back to the first side. If it was set up perfect it all should match up, if your off 1/2 a turn, something is not "perfect" (near impossible I think)

I have been able to fix the small changes by swapping the main blades in some cases. if it corrects the issue or NOW flipped a full turn sets it dead on, then mark one blade and the blade holder it goes on so you always put it back on the same grip.
