Who need the "off the topics" section? When I need some comic relief I just come to the Aurora section.

Why buy?? when you can borrow and no return

Note to cheerleaders. This is serious. Please don't drink the Aurora Cool-Aid, no matter what!

I wonder how many people, after reading the Augusto post on Jan 31st, thought the heli would be released in February?!

I don't mean the cheerleaders - they probably thought it would be out in the first 2 weeks of Feb.

Cheerleaders - do you think it will come out in March (2008)?

The only ones dumb enough to still be cheering probably think they have the Aurora and are flying it, problem is it's just their "imaginary" heli.

LEAVE AUGUSTO ALONE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let him concentrate on finishing. I'd rather wait and have it PERFECT. I don't care how long it takes, it will be the bestest helicopter ever.

Not much from the cheerleaders, so I thought I'd chime in. Either there's a lot fewer cheerleaders, or they're tired of getting hard knee kicks to the crotch! I thought they could take lots of abuse, and still come up singing his praises ...

funny ehn. Since it's so quiet and the cheer squad has dwindled down to almost nothing, should we start writing our own Aurora Cheers?

My Posts This: Topic Forum Trevor from Midland just called to say the release date for the Aurora has been delayed "two weeks" apparently due to the U/C and a plastic washout part not being quite ready

They offered me £50 off the price or a refund which was pretty decent of them.

Must admit I had my doubts as to wether it would be ready for 3DM but hats off to them and the Avant crew for dealing with it in a cool way.

Still not sure what to do though! Get two Synergies or wait? Hmmmmm.

Cheers, Will.

Kind of funny to reread this post from July 2006

Probably painful for the cheerleaders ...

I somehow think that if i can find fault in it after all this time then I would be very disappointed. This time round i would send it back, like i should have done with the N9.

Currently flying a Vibe and there isn't much wrong with that.....

The Avant is a funny machine though, looks dog ugly and skinny on the ground but very classy in the sky.

Not long now......i'm sure i'll get one before my 40th birthday. ( Thats only 6 years time!!)

Here we go again..... Good job all the N9 owners have got the choice of Hyperformance upgrades now.

I looked around a recent kit just recently, same rubbish in the same box. Not much changed there then....

Funny how my vibe and 600n have stayed in the air so long.

No doubt the hyperperformance upgrades have done wonders for the N9 mainly being the torque tube and the hyper hub or whatever it is called. I had one of the first kits probably kit #5 or so in the US, I am deffinetly not a pro builder, but built many MA helis, this one had some serious issues, but it was a new release, so some slack had to be cut. I ended up getting rid of it before I flew it, I realised it was over my build ability to fix the things that were wrong with it.

2 N9's and 34 gallons of flying. Zero torque tube issues (no, I didn't pin the tube. Smooth as silk. The first set of landing gear was cheese, and there were some QC issues with the first kit. 2nd kit was much better. I have recently installed the Hyper drive just because it's cool.

I've heard some good and bad about the Vibe. It's just plain butt ugly IMO. The Aurora looks sweet. .. But most pipe dreams do.

I love the N9 - yes I have all the Hyper upgrades, but I would be willing to bet you have upgraded something on your 600N.

The only upgrades on my 600N were by choice after its first crash. Nothing has been modified for necessity.....
