If you had to choose a last meal what would it be?

Filet Mignon and lobster tail (surf and turf) would be mine. Who cares about embarrassing stains once your gone?

I'll second that. I'd add a big fat baked potato, with sour cream and chopped red onions, and a big slice of pecan pie for dessert.

A snifter of Cuervo for sippin' and Mickey's malt liquor to chase it all down.

"The Mom" was a mostly basic, but fully competent cook. She would take a big ol' slab of flank steak and beat it to within an inch of its life, cover it with a simple stale bread, onions and celery, sage stuffing, and lay maybe 10 or so spears of asparagus as a bunch, at the near edge of the pile. It was then rolled up, covered with bacon, and tied. Next it was rolled around in a skillet to start the bacon on its way before roasting it long and slow to tender submission. A final crisping under the broiler finished it off. Mashed taters and gravy. A special peanut butter sauce over sliced bananas on a bed of romaine lettuce. Jello 1-2-3 for desert. Milk refills at will.

She sounds more like a gourmet to me. How'd she do with steak 'n' lobster?

Theres something fishy about a seafood buffet in the middle of the desert. I always liked the buffet at the Hilton though.

My last meal. Give me a thin New York style pizza and a nice bottle of wine.

That's a tough question if you think about it seriously, I didn't realize it would be that difficult to make a choice.

I may have to go with a good 'ol sloppy rack of ribs.
