Have you guys had any issues with this new 2in1 combo with glow driver and 1900mah lipo? How many flights approx. are you getting on the battery? And can you buy it without the battery and get my own with a higher mah?

Is it the new one with the hard case? What battery do you use and how many flights? How well do they work and does the glow driver eat up alot of battery?

Depends on your servos. I have the Align 2-1 on my rappie with hitec 6975. Stock Align 1900mah battery. Five safe hard flights. Teh glow driver is only on for 15 seconds, the draw from it is so minimal you dont even need to consider that for battery size. Yes, the new one is the hard case version. Make sure you get a step down for your tail servo.

I had some issues with the power hungry servos drawing to much amps and rebooting my AR7000. Casued a nasty crash of my Raptor 90.
The fix was to run two Align 7.4v battery packs in parallel , that gives me about 4800mah. Havent had a lock out since. A friend is running 11.1 v lipo on his Raptor 90 with no problems. I checked it today after a flight and it didnt seem hot to touch......

I'm getting ready to install one on my R50, does anyone have any pics of it installed on a R50? Also is the light gage a good indicator of battery level or should a load checker be used more often?

Who raised the ground since I took off?

Its ok, it tends to under rate the battery. Meaning there is more left, but it gives you a safety margin. I just have mine strapped to the top of the battery which is lying flat on the radio tray.

I have the Align one combo, but it seems that the 1900mah battery that came with is not what it seems, in the first day of use i had two flights and in the 3th the heli simply go for it self straight to earth, the skids just burried in the dirt and everything went bad.

Results: spindle cut in two pieces, main shaft bent almost 30º, tail boom "corrugated" yeap, not bent simply shrink, canopy exploded, both skids broken, and one grip incrusted in the main blade, gladly none of the metal head pieces suffered damage, just the spindle, "GO METAL"

I just shop for a thunder power 3400 mah bat.

I used to have a CPP, now i have a Honey "blade" King 2 and a Raptor 50

It all depends on what servos you are running....high speed and high torque servos will require more then the stock battery. I found out the hard way.

Does anyone have pics of how they mounted this thing on there heli (looking for ideas). Also should I wrap the lipo in foam or will it get to hot or anything like that and is it ok to leave the battery pluged into it and just trust the switch (like I did my nicads) or should I unplug everytime.

You can wrap it in foam if you like. BUT whenever you are done flying UNPLUG it.

here is why:
Long story but I had dropped my trex off at my hobby shop for some work while I was moving recently. Picked it up, set it in the back of my suv. Minutes later my nephew told me my car was on fire. Turns out the pin switch came out or was not in all the way when we set it back there, it came out, all electronics came on while the blades were locked down. The high speed servos overheated, caught fire, smoked out the car. It was not fun. Had to replace two burned up servos and the governor. Gyro got real hot but seems ok. So that's why no more pin switches for me.

Thanks for the pics.Just wondering why 2 batteries, I saw your earlier post but dont understand.Did the batt just go dead and you needed more mah or was there a voltage drop or something like that.

I am running Futaba 9254 on cyclic and pitch. Very power hungry .With an Ar7000 if you drop below 4 volts you get a lock out, if it drops down to 3.5 it will reboot the rx ....thats about 3 to 7 seconds with out any control.Running two batteries at 1900 mAh in parrallel gives me 3800 mAh . Just want a deep well to draw from.......

Aren't those tail servos specifically designed to work with a gyro?? How do they work for you??
