I am wonder what are some parts in the 600, that I should consider changing to make it much more reliable?

I have the Kasama heads on my T450 and one of my 600's They are great no slop, super solid. I did upgrade to G-Forse flybar cages. They are very solid unlike the Kasama flybar arms.

You boys in the UK just dont get it. Mr T is not bullet proof and he has a bad doo. Superman should fly it, he is bullet proof and he has night vision.

The new kits come with a few upgrades that were not in the early kits. You get a steel pinion and metal tail belt pulleys.

I did have one of the control bell cranks strip out so I upgraded to metal aileron and elevator bellcranks.

How would a Kasama head have ANY effect on reliability? It may look great, and change the flight characteristics for the better, but it'd be throwing money away if you are trying to improve reliability.

The 600 is a very solid heli, personally, the only things I think you really need on one is the thrust bearing tail, a good pinion, the damper kit that comes with the sleeve (or the infinivations) and metal grips. Keep an eye on things as they wear for slop (swashplate and ball links in particular), but there really isn't anything else.

Yes, I don't need to improve on the 3d capability. I just want to know which parts are more prone to failure and I want to know what are better replacement. I am using for AP and I want to make it as reliable as a Joker.

I'd do the things I listed, and keep an eye on the swash and ball links. Mine was a great heli, and very reliable, it was maintenance and adjustment free once I did the things I listed above. You'd probably really like it with a set of 620s on it, it's an awfully smooth heli running 620s.

The Kasama Head on the Raptor was a step back imho, can't see it being any different on the t600. The stock t-rex 600 is a better head imho and is perfectly fine, with of course the metal grips and higher durometer dampers. All imho of course.

Thanks guys. I already have the infinitive damper and thrust bearing tail. I will pick up a metal grip to swing a 620mm. The stock grips is not safe for 620mm?

No, the stock grips are hit or miss to spin anything. I suppose you'd probably be fine with the low headspeeds I'm sure you'll run, but the 600e version grips are very weak, a lot of people have had them break in flight, so I dont' chance it. A decent compromise would be to get the grips from the 600N version, they are much stronger, and very few people have blown them up unless they are running 2100+ headspeeds.

Wow, I didn't know that the grip can break. I alway thought, they are very strong. Yes, I am running very low headspeed. But I will change the grip for sure knowing that it can break.

For the thrust bearing tail, get the new Microheli one, cheaper than Kasama.

I've had very good results with the Align thrust bearing tail. I know the Kasama and MicroHeli look better, but is there any other reason to buy them over the Align?
