Hello all: Is it better to charge the 3s batteries in series as a 6s or do you charge them in parallel and just double the mA. HERE IS MY CONTROLED TEST.. I have a prodigy II charger.I just charged two evo 3s 2500mA in paralle at 5000mA. It took 50 minutes and put 2759mA into them.
the second test was with the prodigy charger also i charged one battery at 2500mA and it took 47 minutes and put 1311mA into it.
I also have the thunder power 1010c charger i do not know how to hook two 3s to the balancer. so i have not tried hooking the batteries in series. It seem's like it would be better charging in series.
what are you guy's doing?

Charge them in series.
Check my gallery, I have pictures of how to hook up two 3 cell packs to the 210 balancer.

Hi skeppley
Great info.

I have a charger that I used to charge two 3 cell lipos at the same time, can I use the same technique to balance them together with my 210 balancer? At the present time I have been balancing them one at a time, and it takes forever. Thanks

If the wings are traveling faster than the fuselage, it's probably a helicopter.

It would probably work ok.
The TP1010 charger will shut off if it senses the 210 balancer letting the cells get too far out of balance. Using a charger besides the 1010, you would have to keep an eye on it a few times to be sure. I guess the balancer itself will give loud beeps too if they got out of balance too far, but your charger would have no way of knowing to cut the power, so you would have to do it yourself.
I'd try it
