I got two FlightPower EVOLites 2500mah pack that fit fine in my Trex 500. I'll be getting some FlightPower 2500mah 25C 3s packs that will be bigger, so hopefully those will fit good too.

One of my buddies has KongPower 3s packs that are bigger than my FlightPower EVOLites that fit good in his canopy also.

Too make the batteries fit good, you need to put then lower down on the battery tray.

yeah my evo25 2500 6s packs fit fine under the canopy, i did this for future use of 8s....

my heli balances out with the battery far forward so it never hit the canopy.

Just fit 2 Polyquest 2500 4S 20C packs in the 500 The CG is good but I dont have the motor I'm going to use. Have a AXI 2826/10 had this from a airplane. I dont think it will handle 8S. The frame mod would bring the CG aft I might need to do this after all equiptment is finalized. Thanks for the INFO.

8S is awesome to answer your question....More power, faster, and more pop than my Synergy N9. It is by far the fastest heli I have. I am running about 13-14degrees pitch, and it will not bog at all....My setup is: Scorpion 3026-1210KV on 13tooth, Jazz 55,2-EF 4S 2100 evolites, 5245's, GY611/9257, AR7000, and Castle BEC...Other than having to run a different esc, and motor, the costs of the packs are not much different....
