Okay, here it is.

http://www.runryder.com/help-faq/Classifieds/

Basically, it says that if you sell an item you can do one of two things. Mark subject sold or just close the topic.

Man, I miss the eighties.

Instead your on here whining that I have to click my mouse one more time than I have to...
It takes exactly the same amount of keystrokes and clicks to mark the subject sold.
Some people leave them open so that the person who buys the item can post on the topic so that you can add them to the GG list.
In case you have not been listening, we are talking about the SUBJECT line. You can put sold in the subject line without closing the post.
Now this topic will turn into me against the cry babies because my opinion differs from that of the cry baby no it alls.
Sounds more like it is you against people that are considerate.
Instead your on here whining that I have to click my mouse one more time
Trust me when I tell you: no one here wants you to click your mouse one more time.....

Team, I originally started this thread out of pure frustration but I have since learned Yoga, so now I am calm. I have come to terms that some folks just forget to mark the item sold and some are just so happy to actually have money to spend on other things that they just fail to tag the thread. All we can do is HOPE FOR A CHANGE '08..

For those of us that are stuck with dial-up internet , editing the subject will save about 10 minutes time to down load a posting, only find out at the end - it's already sold!

Thats a good point, I forgot about dial-up.

This is apparently not so much about being considerate, as it is about following the rules. I am very glad that the rules cover this, now there can be no argument about it It is very simple: follow the rules, or don't post for sale....period.

Exaggerate much? If it takes you 10 minutes to download a post to see that it's sold, you're not on dial up, someone is carving you a stone tablet. It takes less than a minute to download a post over a 33.6 line, the pictures take longer, but the text itself comes very quickly. I have to access via 33.6 dial up occasionally, and your time line isn't even close to realistic.

WTF ????
He starts a post complaining about not having sold in the subject.....

Then goes and puts a WANTED add in the for sale section..

There is a Wanted or trade section available for this....Thanks for stealing 2 seconds of my life. LOL.

It's OK....It's not your fault !!!

Yea, I probably did exaggerate a bit. Never timed it - but you get the point.

Boy, did I just aged 15 minutes reading this? Let's mark this thread SOLD!

I agree with marking an item sold and there are many other problems with some adds. But in a perfect world, life would sometimes suck but the people would be great. But for now, just some of the people suck and life is great!
