I believe that they retail for $899.00 I have two of them and can tell you that they work very well for stills and video. Takes a lot of work load off the camera man/person and pilot.

I will help Travis or Flyboy explain so it doesn't waste his time.

With all of our new mount including the Pro1 you have 360 degrees non stop panning with no wires to worry about. This helps by eliminating the cameraman from having to go back the other way to find the image. The tilt is the same way you can actually look upside down to see and object but probably the best thing it does is with the KS-2 it levels the camera without the cameraman doing anything.

We took roll out of the equation so now all he has to do is pan and tilt on the object which now have no limits so he can hold the image in the scene with about 50% work load off of him.

Hope this helps you some.

Somewhat off topic, but where do you guys get these bracket\connectors you use to build these frames? I see several different mounts by different manufacturers but with bolt-together connectors. I have two projects I am working on (neither one a camera mount) and need connectors of this style. Are these purchased somewhere, or do you guys fabricate them yourselves? I am not having any luck at all finding these things.

Yes we design template and CNC everything on the mount. If the next question is will we sell them. We have to many orders to ship just the bracket for a project. We have to be able to take care of our customers incase they would need one for a Pro1 or Mini Pro.

Hope this helps.

Darn, I was hoping there was a bracket store I had not yet found. Pardon my ignorance in these matters, but how do you fabricate something like that?

I have looked at a bunch of cnc sites and this is one of the more interesting ones I have seen. If you scroll down the page they have the plans available as a download or as a cd, this includes several sizes of cnc machines. They also have several kits available, the prices seem reasonable to me. A serious question though for those of you working with cnc routers. How much noise do they make? I will be working from a garage at my apartment complex and don't need the neighbors trying to shoot me.

catwrench, is there an advantage to having the camera enclosed in the ball? Most of the mounts I have seen are open.
