i am running 430L motor cc35,eflite 2100 20c battery i just replaced my tail belt now when i punch the throttel the tail kicks to the side and the gyro (gy401) doesnt seem to hold it right away gain set at 40% belt to tight to lose?

Sounds like it is too loose. If you replaced it after a crash and tightening doesnt help, check to see if your front tail drive pulley isnt slipping and same with the rear one on your tailshaft. I have also had this happen with a bad one way bearing.

I ran the 9650 and it kicked out. I bought the 9257, problem solved....

well its a 9257.lol my belt snapped in flgiht toher day got a new alogn belt at lhs and replaced it last night(pita). belt tension seems ok my heli just seems to have no power adn when i try to climb out tail kicks the nose to the left.

Make sure you only have a 1/4 twist in the belt. If you feel alost of power something is not right somewhere passibly the belt is way to tight....

pretty sure belt only has the twist it needs,it sounds ok no odd noises. it bogs when i climb out and tail kicks.
could it b battery robbing power? im told they are low time they are eflite 2100 20c

Is it doing this in normal mode or 100% idle up ?

As if you punch it hard in normal mode its normal as the tail will not have enough power to keep it straight.

If you stil have the problem after turning up your gyro and end points , then move out a hole or get a servo arm a little bigger.

what is your max pitch?
usually over 11-12° pitch torque created from the main blades is too high to be counteracted from the small tail blades

Is the headspeed the same? If it isn’t you may be loading down the motor with an impacted bearing or a misalignment somewhere.
