Good luck with that one, they haven't been released yet, Horizon is saying mid Feb now, but it looks like it's going to be pushed out.

Look at the place where you wold click to order it, it says "backorder, item coming soon". They've only announced it, they haven't actually shipped or sold any, the only ones out there are the prototypes that they used for development. I wish you were right, I want one too, but they don't exist yet.

Like I said, they haven't sold any, so no one can tell you if it's good. It looks good, parts prices are good, and the reports from the guys who've flown the prototypes are good, but until they exist, who knows what the deal is for sure.

If you are looking at 90s, it's tough to find a bad one. They all fly great. Look at parts costs/availability, and the quality of the machine. I've never heard of anyone not loving how the Vibe 90 flies, but check out what parts cost. The Avant is an awesome flying heli, but there are serious issues with that company (go check out the Avant forum). I really like the Miniature Aircraft helis, they are very well designed, and fly great, parts are pricey, but it is an American made heli, so there is some justification, and the quality is second to none. The plastic fantastics like the Freya and Raptor fly great and are less money to buy and fix. You really can't go wrong with any 90.

Thanks for the help. I have raptor and Align helis now I just want to try something new and very good quality I have Trex 450sev2 500 600e and raptor 30 50 titan and 903D I want something with eCCpm for sure I love the T-rex 600 eCCPM and would like to stay with it. I might waoit for the T-rex 700 to come out they say it is going to be the best 90 heli out. Ok well input is always welcome as I have bin flying for 4 years now but stuck with 2 brands time to test the waters. I like JR but do not know which way to go

JR has been hit and miss with their 50 size stuff. The Voyager was really good, and the Venture really kinda bit in the quality department. The Vigor and Vibe were really great helis, but the predecessor, the Ergo, was only sold in the US with bushings, and not enough bearings. JR made a Ergo with full bearings, and even the gasser was sold with full bearings, but the meager Ergo 60(no 90s at the time) was destined to wear. JR has always been proud of their parts. My vigor nearly always cost 600$ to fix, even after a small mishap. The ergo wasn't as bad, but it didn't have any carbon. If the vibe 50 is what I think it will be, the repair costs are going to be terrible. That being said, it will probably fly like its on rails, and be very durable like the vigor and V90.

Back to it!

ok well that dose not sound too good as far as fixing it. I guess just don't crash right?? lol Ok well thanks for the input I would like a 90 but yes cost a arm and leg to fix.Ok well what else is out there that performer like these helis but not too costly to fix. I like my Rap 90 maybe 200 after a good crash as long as I do not crash the frame. Ok well let me know

There's an article buy a guy that saw a prototype at http://www.littlerotors.com and if I can find the link I'll post it to the video I saw. They look like a great little heli but until they get released.....

FWIW the original date on Horizon's web site was mid summer 07, it got moved to Oct, then late Nov, then January and now late Feb.

The parts prices have been listed on Horizon's website for months. They are going after the T-Rex on this one, some parts are less expensive than the 600N, most are the same price, and very few are more. The Vibe 50 isn't going to be an expensive helicopter to fix, and with the quality of JR, I'd bet it's less money to keep one in the air than a T-Rex, since the parts won't be wearing out constantly.

Man, you seriously need to become familiar with the search button at the top of the page. You're asking us to make choices on how you are going to blow $2000. Do some searches and read up on all the helis out there, and you'll find the one that's right for you by reading the pros and cons from people who are flying them rather than the guys who come across a thread like this. The replies to a "What heli should I get thread" will mostly get you "This is great, that sucks" answers from the cheerleaders, without addressing the weaknesses of the choices. Doing a search and reading what people are actually encountering will let you make the right choice for you.

If you don't want to do that, here's the cheerleader answer from me, an admitted Hirobo cheerleader. If you want a 90, go buy a Freya Evo, it'll do everything you can ever want, while being cheap to buy and cheap to maintain and being simple to work on with the absolute highest quality you will find. I love my Freya, I've had a couple of them, and I always end up coming back to them. But like I said, I'm a Hirobo cheerleader, I just don't have the cute skirt and sweater.
