Since I'm outta commision (until the new ESC gets here, in transit at the moment), here's a picture of the nemesis:

Maybe someday I'll get good at flying her.

Not to step on JC's toes but just by lookin at it. It is a blend of Align TREX 450 and King 2 parts. Mostly King, but I like it-- A Hybrid

I like it too.

I was so curious, I PM'ed Cunny and asked about it.

I was just tryen to draw him out with the post. I figured anyone that didn't know that heli, would want to know.

Guess I shoulda called her out. She's the HBK2 with a T-R3x 450 canopy, struts, and fins. She's got the Telebee gyro and a JR 285 holding the tail. Spinning the blades is the HDX 3800KV outrunner. Other than that she's all stock. I did get in my 1500 mah "greenie" from HD today, seems to have cured her tail heaviness.

Yea. The AXE CP and Blade CP have plastic balls.

They are known to come off sometimes.

So you haven't had that with the HBK2?

And here I thought it was an inherent problem with plastic link balls.

i haven had the broblen yet but ive only got like 30 hrs on my hbk2. my cppro had like80- 90 hrs on it and had no prob but im not an aggressive flier and low head speed probly helps let stuff stay snapped in place. hopefully dougs or tryan chimes, both of thoes kids are quiet a bit more aggressive than me they probly have a better ideas or experience.

Texas is right.

Maybe you should put some machine guns on it too.

I received my HBK2 in the mail with one of the head linkage balls broken off. Nice to get a brand new heli pre=crash damaged, didn't have to even fly it to damage it. And they only charge shipping and hadling for the damage.

Now I wait for parts. I wonder if they come pre-damaged too.

That's tough.

The weather is non-fly here.

I see you have a T-Rex

Will the HBK2 be your "Yardbird"?

This ones for you vortech I will be putting an align ESC on it today but the rest is stock E-sky. Notice I keep the trex parts where they belong. Modding a heli is fun but after a while it looses what it was.

Now that you mention it, I have a spare trex aluminum head around. I think it's going on the HBK.

Too bad the booms are different sizes, I have an extra metal tail too.
