Hi all,
Need your help with a Swift 16 Kit.

When you secure the flybar control arms into the flats on the flybar, they don't line up with the seesaw. Few degrees out, but definitely not aligned. Is this Ok/normal for this kit?

Also, which pinion would you suggest if using a Hacker A30-8XL, 50-60 amp esc, and Electron 4S1P 4000 battery, wood blades, sport flying?(They have 9,10,11,12,13,or14 tooth pinions)

Thanks!

Missed recent similar question
Just Read Al Austria's response to dwb's similar question. That explanation is good enough for me!

Pinion selection help would be much appreciated. Thanks!

That sounds like the flat spots on the flybar are out of line. You have two choices:
(1) turn the flybar over an secur it without the flat spots....or
(2) return the flybar for a new one (recommended)
As for the pinion, I would use a 13t or 14t pinion depending on what kind of performance you want. I would try anywhere from 12t to 14t and see what suits you.
I have never used this particular motor but I have heard others say it is kind of a weeny motor. If you went with a Century 550+ motor and 9t pinion with the 4s setup, It would be a very nice flier.....Ron

Thanks Ron!
A phone call for a new flybar will be placed when they open this week.

Weeney is the motor...but it was free! My flying buddy upgraded his swift, and he gave me all his origional components (sans the pinion). Therefore, and henceforth...for starters, weeney is the way!
