My blade 400 is more like a fake t-rex lol sorry guys but i cant wait any longer for upgraded parts. i am ready for 3d flight now and i cant afford to with these parts.

First off i have a T-rex carbon fiber canopy. I used two small collars to hold the body mount bar in place. i cut the mounting holes on the canopy i lil futher back and im good to go.

I used 325mm wood blades also from align with to shims on each blade.
I think .025 each shim please dont quote me

hs 65mg servos lil filing got me along way and some changes in the tx

T-rex 450 stock paddles i heard curtis youngblood has some stiffer dampeners for us. that should really help. Those soft o-rings aren't for me

She's got T-rex 450 rear blades, T-rex CF stabilizers

My pitch is 10/10 im getting 8 minutes out of these batteries

i would like to also upgrade the rear servo im not to sure which one to use yet but im guessing i need the servos mounts from the T-Rex

Im working on the rear tail setup i was told it will fit. Does anybody know if the t-rex head assembly would fit ?
i know the diablo head fits the t-rex and with that fly bar up top it really flys, so stable so im thinkin about putting the diablo head on my blade. lol i know all you blade owners out there are hating on me right now but the fact is the bird flys better with some better parts. we all got stuck flyin something that really wasnt ready out of the box. mine needed tuning that im still chasing it now. I the gyro is fine now but i will upgrade to the 401. I think what we all need is for blade to release some DAMN parts already.

If anyone out there trying to trick out the blade 400 please help me lol my info your info will help out all of us.

And as far as my lil blade..... Well she just need to be woke up.
Hopefully get some pics up for you.

I fly hardcore 3D (piroflips funnels tictocs etc) with my 400. I have on radix main blades which really helped, and 401 gyro which made the biggest difference by far. I also agree that the head is to soft so i simply purchased the blade cp head shims, and threw 2 of those on each side. It is not super stiff but it helped alot. I will eventually replace all of the servos, and for the tail I am thinking about a 9257. I have not decided on cyclic servos just yet.
hope this helps,

yes the trex 450 head will work on B400. You will have to cut about 1/8 inch off top of main shaft. I have not flown one with head on it but I set one up with it. We used complete head and mixing base w/ arms & links. The one thing I don`t remember is if we changed all four balls on inner ring on swash or just the two for the links on mixer arms and used e-flight balllinks on rods going to swash. You will have to change swash mix.

The reason we tried this was because all the parts were not out yet and the owner broke the plastic seesaw. I have two B400, One RTF and one built from parts off the wall( I know expensive). I flipped the grips on mine and both fly great now. I do have align tail hubs, grips,& tail blades on mine. I also installed MJP trex tuff carbon fin because it is taller, 65mg`s, 401w/9257 & Radix`s blades.
