Gary , Don't sell yourself short ! 3D isn't so much a style as it is an accumulation of "baby steps". First fly in a circle, then a figure 8, nose in, inverted tail in, inverted nose in, inverted funnel and on and on. The challenges never stop, just take one baby step at a time. Thats what makes this hobby so great in my opinion. You don't have to get all manic and crazy with the 3-D but the impending challenge of the steps is cool.

Anyone who says 3-D sucks is certainly entitled to thier opinion and feelings, but to me, 3-D is fascinating because it represents the Ultimate control of these little beast's we call RC heli's. Scale is still VERY cool !! But not the Ultimate in flying skilz. It's like a "Y" on heli highway. Take one path or the other ( or Both)

Interesting question:

Can one fly 3D with a fuse?

Someone told me not.

I wouldn't know.

No fuse, and no 3D.

Dougs right. My Instrouctor, im flying a Piper-180, said dont let yr self get behind the yoke. Haaaaa? Stay in control of the plane, and some day yr flyin skills will become boaring. Thats when yr flyin in front of the yoke. You then plan what ya want to do next, and the Death-Grip can relax,on the yoke-Stick. Thats when the next little baby step takes place.

star shaped paper punch and a package of white letter stickers just punch them out 25 per side peel off the backing and one by one lay them out only took about 4 or 5 hrs.

I hope to soon be having my own first jet ranger flight. I have to do some work on the windows. Im adding side windows and painting them for the slots that slide open in the side windows. You cant tell it from the pics but my fuse has cooling I cut open the front intakes and cut out vents and have fiber screen for the heat exhausts those little things no one will notice.
