I want to try the Logo 600 to see how I like it. However, there is no one in this area flying the Mikado brand from whom I can glean information. I need recommendations for a motor and pinion. I will be flying mostly aerobatics (loops, rolls, stall turns) with a little (very little) mild 3D at times. I prefer to use 6 or 7 cell packs as that is what I have on hand. Thanks in advance.

I dont think the 600 would do good on 5S you should try the 500 with 550s it would do better on 5S and its a rocket on 6S. This is a good 6S motor http://mikado.e-vendo.de/e-vendo.ph...90ba8758dab8a29

I agree, you really need the Logo 600 to be an 8s to 12s machine for the flying you want to do. You CAN do multiple 6s packs for a KILLER 12s setup. Actro 32-3, PowerJazz controller, 12s......WHOA!

Hello

The 600 is very light and you may be able to put together an OK 6s setup like they did with the TREX 600 E. Chris could spank it really hard like this(with a TREX) but the batt and motor temps got pretty high.

If you were going with the 6s route then you may be able to try the following:

A Tango 45-10 may work pretty well with a 14-16 tooth depending on what you like.

Make sure that you use a hefty ESC...the Jazz 80 may work.

Youll prob want to use the best 5Ah 6s packs you can buy.

Not being able to use 6s helps me make the decision to go with Trex 600 instead. Thanks for all the input.

They are both the same size machines so the 6s thing is moot. The Logo 600 is lighter than the Trex 600 so it would be a better choice on 6s. Bottom line NEITHER one of them will be ballistic on 6s and they both really need to be 10s machines to realize the full potential of the helis. If you want a ballistic 6s machine, go with the Logo 5003D. If you want to still use 6s batteries, go with the Logo 6003D and run two 6s batteries in series for a 12s machine and HOLD ON!!!!.....Ron
