A run of Fasst radios recently was found to have the same IDs and that would cause them to x-communicate. They won't say how many but it includes all the Fasst radios made recently. I happened to have purchased one from Tower about 2 weeks ago and the serial number was in the in the "possibly affected" list. I had it tested and it is fine. All they do is turn on your radio with it near a receiver they have. It looks like a normal 607 receiver but it has a special sticker on it. If the light goes solid green, it is bad. Mine stayed blinking for 10 seconds and that meant it was good.

Yes it is a little more serious but it looks like Futaba has quickly responded with a fix for the problem too so that also gets added to the evaluations.
I personally went with the DX7 because it was the only choice when I was ready to buy... I do like the Futaba radios but they were to late to the market to get my money.....

I said they don't work with the stock radio, I also stated they are weak in a crash and don't hold up any better than the s75's will. the hs 65MG will survive some crashes but not all of them... You bought the 65MG servos for $14 buck each that is a great price on a 40+ dollar servo are you sure they are the hitec hs 65 MG's????

In ref to the thread starter, I bought a DX7 a while back for my helis. I bought the plank version by mistake, but it works just as well on helis, just a few of the labels on switches reference planks and two of the switches are in swapped. But it has been a flawless radio and I love the glitch free operation and no freq pin.
I just ordered an X9303 because I wanted the control knobs and extra channels, otherwise the dx-7 is great. The X9303 is fully compatible with my existing AR7000 receivers that came with the DX7.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?
