I did a "dream 2nd heli" setup on that and it was $512.14 without a TX/RX or charger. I guess that $130 Airwolf body didn't help the price

Isn't it funny how an $89. heli can turn into a 500-700 heli in just a few key strokes.....

The guy at the Hobby-Shop, in Hollister-Branson, Mo. just over the high-ridge,and threw-da-holler, said the http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dl...:MEWA:IT&ih=005 Was ready, right out of the box. NEEDing Nothing. Maby he knows what hes talking about. I see were buying "Teasers",needing a Whole-Bunch-of-up grade parts, to do what I did, Many-Many-Years-a-Go! Just that it took $1,500-$2,000. to do then what it takes $500. today. Its the ol, Hook-Line-&-Sinker, guys. Do you want to buy it RTF,or RTF,ready to up-grade....? I see back then a heli would cost $600-$1,400, and I bought both of them. Today, im scuffing with ya,ll, trying to get buy on the "Cheep".......! WORK-WIDTH-ME,here,think what the HK,folks are thinking Put out some "Real-Cheep-S@#*t,and then offer a BUNCH-OF-Up-Grades, to make it last a season. Black,Pink,Pruple,or any other "Under-Panty-Color", just so we get-em-2-hover. Just think of the MONEY we'll make on them Bas$%%^^&*rds. We'll get filthy-rich, and if they want to fly, we'll get em thAre too after they buy the other stuff to have a Real Heli, that can fly, like they did in the 70's. BUT, we'll soak em for every dollor they got.

Thats good marketing, thanks for sharing. Next they should add a parts kit. Enough to you two or three crashes and you are good to go.

So...why are giving you a 72MHZ reciever but putting a 2.4 Tx in the package? Wouldn't you need the 2.4 band reciever too? I'm just going on what the thig defaults to..basically what the "base" package is, before you customize.

hey TEXAS DAR........I actually understood that post....but you have NO IDEA...the HBK flies GREAT out of the box(few MINOR things)....you dont have to do ANYTHING to it and you can enjoy it for a long time........I've said this already a couple of times.. you newbies starting with a HBK dont know what "upgrade to fly" is the BLADE CP....now there is a product that sucks you in and you NEED to do a few hundred dollars woth of upgrades just to get a barely decent flight out of it....and even then its marginal at best.....you guys really dont know how lucky you have it......and the BASE price for a BLADE was 250 dollars before you even start

I hate to say this, but a lot of guys here, would be out of the hobby if they started with a CP....you REALLY had to be DETERMINED and patient to get a hover out of that heli

That's a fact jack. I had 2 of them and they were very interesting to get setup right to fly... Mine were before the pro model came out too....

Fender wasn't that the elusive 4in1 gyro setup???? it was never quite setup right for a hover..... So you ened up flying the tail all the time.... And now you would think nothing of doing that anymore... Great experience in my book....

yes..the infamous 4in1....1/32 of a turn one way and the tail was all over the place, 1/32 the other and wag all over...LOL....and before anyone gets offended by my comments(someone USUALLY does ) I'm NOT saying I'm better than anyone as I'm certainly not......but the price/quality of the 300 size heli's have come a LONG way in the short time I have been flying...less than a year......and I own both helis(CP....HBK)and the HBK is vastly better in every way to a CP making things much much easier all around

Fender if the King was Advertised as well as the Blade CP was a year ago and we got the KING then, I think we would have had a MUCH easier time of it and would be even further along in our SKilZ !! Its all relative, Slider had it tougher than all of us back in the 70's

WE didn't even have gyros back then guys they weren't invented yet for rc..... and I had to fly it with just one stick instead of 2 like you guys do today... but It did fly as you can see it the picture in Dougs post..... I wish I had a video... I was talking with my oldest son last nite and he reminded me of the time I bounced it off the roof of the house and it just rolled of the roof to the ground. I looked it over and it was back flying with no damage....

I don't know how you did it slider, must of been wild flights though The closest I ever came to anything that difficult was when I first got into R/C's my dad pulled a good one on me and got me a Heath Kit instead of a good radio. Took me 2 months to put that radio together It did work though so I used it for 2 years learning sailplanes just because of all the trouble I went through to build it

If e-sky spent some money on advertising/marketing....the CP would cease to exist....but then the HBK would be more expensive.....so theres a trade off.......what needs to happen is a good established parent company needs to distribute e-sky

What is a Blade CP ? "I hate to say this, but a lot of guys here, would be out of the hobby if they started with a CP....you REALLY had to be DETERMINED", What has changed today ? Slider and I flew with no gyros, and we hovered and flew. I did have 2 sticks. Was the One stick, like our right stick, but the stick top turned for tail Slider ?
