Nearing the end of my building of the E325SE MT. would appreciate comments or suggestions regarding my thoughts in completing the project.
1) Install Dean’s connector for the Lipo & ESC?
2) How do I know if the gear mesh between the motor & Gear is correct? I did not force them just snug, when rotating it, BTW in one direction the upper gear stays put but the other way ALL things turn.
3) The belt is snug not too tight but not loose.
4) I will using the DS285 servos & the Futaba S9257 with Lipo
TT eXtreme V2 220mah & 13 pinion.
5) Anything I should encounter in the remaining steps?
Thanks for your patience; I would appreciate your help.

The deans connectors get put on the old fashoned way, soldering. When working with batteries
Strip 1 wire
Solder
heat shrink

strip another wire
solder
heat shrink

Shorting them is bad. Really bad

Your gear mesh need to have a little backlash, just a tiny bit you can flip the heli upside down and hold the motor and move the gear to get a feel for it.
Turn the gear around and check backlash in a few spots to make sure there are no higher spots and it meshes well all around the gear.

I found with the belt that you really need it looser than you may first think or it will rob you of flight time. You should be able to lightly push the belt with a pen lid or something and it goes halfway. As long as the belt doesn't skip if you move the tail rotor back and forth quickly with your hand its tight enough.
