In the instructions that come with the motor Yamada recommends 30% nitro. I have seen the engine perform well on 20%.

I would think you will be okay but the motor is going to lose some punch and as it will be set leaner because of less nitro it might have a negative effect on cooling and wear.

I run mine on 15% PowerMaster, and it does fine. I don't do much 3D, but the power is still very impressive, and it runs like a top!

I've run 15% Sig Champion fuel in my YS for a year now, it's quite happy and runs quite well.

I'm running 20% and It will do climbing tic tocs without a hick, pulls 12.5 deg without the slightest bog and aileron tic tocs could last days in a row.

I really can't see the diference to 30% that would justify the price. I only use 20% to keep tuning easier. If I were an expert, I would get away with 10% for sure

Being a ys run what you want just keep an eye on temps If you need more power and temps are high you need more nitro , higher nitro gives more power and cooler temps
