With the big fun flys only a month or so away, including Birmingham, Vegas and others I've been wondering if the pros will have the testicular fortitude to walk out to a flight line with their one and only Auroras. Will some of them have jumped ship by then? And will the brains behind the Aurora attend the events? Should be very interesting. Oh, and not to mention we will be seeing the 700n popping up sooner than we think. I remember Align did this exact same thing last year. Announced the 600n for spring/early summer but all the top names were flying them at the first fun flys. What do you think?

The question is, how many people will bother them with these stupid debates about "what really happened" and "when will it be released" instead of letting them enjoy the funflys. I really doubt everyone is jumping ship just because of the stupid drama in these forums that seems to be carried on week after week by the same people

This forum has become pretty sad. Nobody can even ask a serious question without the majority of responses coming from people that "gave up" long ago but still feel the need to constantly come back to this forum to push their opinion on anyone that still considers it.

As a sponsored person answering those kinds of questions is part of your job.

They are no worse than the ones that keep saying it will be the best....

Or those that post their opinion to bitch about others positing their opinion...IMO

Of course, I don't know what I was thinking. Any inside information they might have should definately be disclosed to anyone interested as "part of their job". Who wants to enjoy a Fun fly when we could ruin it with speculation about what happened to stall the release date.

You are right again. I don't know why I would want to look into a forum about a helicopter without hearing everyones opinion that "gave up" on it long ago. Why would we want an actual answer to a question when we could just hear "buy a Synergy", "Wait until the 700N release" or "the RJX 90 is right around the corner" instead

Just look at the first page of the Avant section. How many actual helpfull posts/topics do you see? Hasn't this all been beaten to death? Is there anything else that can be said from either side that hasn't been said a hundred times? Do the complainers feel like they are helping steer us away? FWIW, I don't feel like me or the other Avant supporters are helping either... I am just getting tired of seeing the same posts over and over saying the same things. I have watched this forum for a long time, but unfortunately it has turned into a place to whine and no usefull information has been posted in a while.

I had one of the first prototype Auroras back in Sept 06', I had it till about March/April 07' but then went on to finish a side project I started years before. Even though I was a rep, I still did not get any 'inside' information. I don't know if that is true for some reps, but for the majority of reps who have them, I happen think they know as much info as CX and Augusto have given out to the general public.

There has to be "push back". It is the consumer's only way of letting the vendor know the level of their displeasure.

I never said they should say anything...I said it was part of their job.

When you are a sponsored pro, having fun at the funfly comes in second to being a representative. While not in RC, I am sponsored in other activities and I go to those activities to work, not have fun. You think people that work at "putt-putt" golf are there to have a good time?
You are right again. I don't know why I would want to look into a forum about a helicopter without hearing everyones opinion that "gave up" on it long ago.
Or to hear blind defense of a product most have never seen, much less flown.
Why would we want an actual answer to a question when we could just hear "buy a Synergy", "Wait until the 700N release" or "the RJX 90 is right around the corner" instead
Right now it is due to backlash from piss poor communication from the manufacturer. If there was no discussion about that, there would be no discussion at all. We can't discuss the helicopter since it frankly does not exist for consumers.

And alternatives to the helicopter are discussed in every brand forum. Its just that since no consumer can get their hands on one it is talked about more here.
Just look at the first page of the Avant section. How many actual helpfull posts/topics do you see?
Look at the average flight line...How many Avants do you see? Look at any communication from the company...How many helpful posts do you see from them?

Nature abhors a vacuum, so do forums. In the absence of the helicopter, and in the absence of any helpful communication from the company, all that is left is discussion of speculation and alternatives.
s there anything else that can be said from either side that hasn't been said a hundred times?
Nope, but read the above sentence again.
Do the complainers feel like they are helping steer us away?
I bet that is EXACTLY what they feel. Many put down money and feel like they were lied to, and mislead (Actually I think they were lied to and mislead). Do you think the supporters feel like they are keeping people? I will not get excited about anything from this company till I can buy it, and get parts for it. Right now it is a heli that only exists in the vapor for all of its target audience.
FWIW, I don't feel like me or the other Avant supporters are helping either... I am just getting tired of seeing the same posts over and over saying the same things. I have watched this forum for a long time, but unfortunately it has turned into a place to whine and no usefull information has been posted in a while.
You do not have to add to the noise if you do not wish. But, I find it funny that you create noise to complain about others creating noise.

As for why no useful information....It is impossible to HAVE useful information if no one has one of these and the company is not giving any useful information.

Yes, it is very strange that I would complain about wanting to see relevant information instead of the constant bashing and speculation that doesn't help anyone.

I started to quote your posts and compile another reply taking shots at each of your points with counter-points, but continuing this conversation is obviously a pointless waste of time (for both of us) and it wouldn't be helpfull to anyone... just like 99% of these posts lately. I don't want to add to the "noise" anymore so I will just leave it alone. Chalk up another one to the many "usefull" topics here in the Avant section.

The Aurora looks like a great heli. What surprizes me are the people that still wants to deal with Augusto. Augusto has a track record of lying or you might say deceiving people. (If you like that then this is your man.) That's all I have to say about that!

How many new serious questions can be asked? They were all asked a year and a half ago and have long since become outdated. Why ask for updated info when it will likely be outdated by the time the Aurora is released?

I believe alot of folks have moved on and want to try to keep the new batch of cheerleaders from falling for the same lies. Not too much unlike people posting about scammers. Only difference is, this scam has bee going on since IRCHA '06 or before.

Sun Nuclear: Put your money where your mouth is. $200 bucks I won't own one.

Before you start arguing that I never wanted one anyway... do a search for my posts in 2006. I spent $3000 on my aurora stash back then.
