I don't fly a Venture but two of my buddies do. I suggest that you visit this website and see how he sets up a heli. It's basically the same.

http://www.raptortechnique.com/

You are asking a very big question that is difficult to answer in a modest sized forum reply. Before you set the pitch, you must make sure that all of the linkages are the proper length, the servos are centered, and all control arm to linkage angles are 90 degrees. Then you can start setting the pitch. After reading raptortechnique, come back and start asking some more specific questions. Not trying to blow you off, but you need to see the whole picture. Feel free to PM if needed.

Setting pitch
helibro,
busyflyin is spot on.
I would also recommend the following sites. They aided me greatly.
1.) " littlerotors "
2.) " helifreak " i.e. the "Finless " Trex 450 SE build video.
Hope this is of some small help
Regards
