I don't believe that the exap has heli programming. based on futabas website only the exp has both heli and airplane programming.

If you're going to get a new radio and want futaba and you're on a budget then go for the 6ex 2.4ghz and get rid of your other two radios.

esky servo

1.3 kg-cm is 18 oz-in

the only thing to remember is that both the 3113 and 3114 can handle 6v where the 3110 cannot. if you're using a esc w/bec that only outputs on 5v then you're fine, if you ever upgrade your esc and it outputs on 6v then you're in trouble.

If the 3110 is cheaper and you're running 5v bec then go for it.

FYI, I just tried out the Align RC-9XP's for my cyclic. They were a little tight going on. The only mod I had to do was the front servo linkage had to be trimmed a little bit. Otherwise when fully down the little piece of metal rod would touch the motor. Those servos still have the plastic gears, but the motor driving them is a little bigger than the stock esky's.
I tried them just to try them. Experimenting. Improvising, Adapting, Fiddle-farting(that for texasdar so he could understand too). All in all, they seem to work well, but I am still working on the side in hovering for now and not doing any ff fff or 3d yet.

Hey Tryan did you catch the way that older guy set his down? He had it inverted about 6" off the ground and flipped it over to the skids and at the same time as it was mid flip he shut the throttle down. THe result was that it flipped landed on its skids, pretty cleanly, and the rotor was alread spinning down as it landed. At first I thought it was a fluke and the guy got lucky, but a few other guys standing around were joking that it took him a long time to get that move down.

Absolutely, I am NOT going to see some young teenage kid throwing around a trex in the air like a rag doll and then give up! If the little snot nosed punk can do it, I CAN DO IT TOO!!!

But the expo was cool, I wish I had more time to see some of the competitions, but life goes on. I was hoping that there would be more vendors. Tryan said that last year there was a guy selling esky stuff, but he wasnt there this year. I also realized I needed to write down the exact names and part#s for the things I was looking for. When I got there, there were slightly different numbers so I was not sure if I should get it or not. I erred on the side of caution.

But all in all, if there is another expo within 400 miles that is bigger and not during my busy season then I would definately make plans to go.

The "council" went underground---secret meetings---secret identities---we don't even display the non-existant "council" numbers anymore. Causes "much ado about nuttin" So if you were in the council in the future--no one would even know it. The only evidence would your helpfulness and "good humors"

well ragtop, for one, you need to start brushing up on your numerology. ALL of the post from council members have imbedded messages. That is how they communicate openly on this forum. And the higher up the council ladder you go, the more intrinsic the codes.
