2600mah 25c lipo for me get 6 good flight running 6volts using amprage sucking JR8717's and JR8700 throtle servo with Log 6100 gyro and tail servo, I would change anything about this set up. These servos ROCK I was only getting 3 to 4 good flights with li-ion packs esp in cold temps. I like the higher C rating of the 25c lipos seem to hold there voltage longer, and dont weigh as much and the li-ionsXtreme Power Systems, @Signs

NiCad and NiMH in nitro/gassers/turbines but will move to LiXX technology as nickel cells come to their end-of-life.

Regulated power tapped of main motor LiPo packs in e-powered models. Trying to support Li tech packs and Ni chemistry at the same time at the flying site is asking for trouble. It's too easy to connect the wrong charger, especially if distracted.

Yes it is....

Right now I run 4 different types in 5 helis & TX.... LiIon, Lipo, NiMh, NiCad. All charge on a Triton. Charging is a careful process.
