Some with LiPo nut most still with high capacity hi-charge rate NiCd (2400 sub C).

As they never seem to mind high servo loads and are easy to fast charge at the field (20minutes), I really have never felt the need to change to more complex systems. I have always been a big fan of the KISS principle.

Li-Ion: 2 50-size helis on Fromeco setup (2600mAh)

30% YAK54 SmartFly/Fromeco (dual 2600mAh)

NIMH on the "beaters":
40-size Ultra-stick (with a ST-61ABC with MACS Tuned-pipe)

and

GP Minnow with 9250s all the-way-around (Saito FA-100)

Converted this past season as the ni-cads "aged-out" and were 80% capacity.

Performance = Li-Ion or Li-Po...though I still "store my Li-po" off the model in a "sink" that wont catch fire!!!

lotta ins, lotta outs

Low impedance NiMH in everything for several years now with good success.

The government cannot give you anything without first taking it from someone else.
