On their way!
Uploading now to yahoo to send off to you. The first couple of waves should be there already, the last one soon come!

Is it me or is it hard to hold a perfect stationary hover? By the way, I tied the bungies to the skids with no foam in-between (no room with the 1005 gear) nice and tight 3 knots each...

Take a look at the pics and let me know what you think.

Some adjustments today
Well the weather was crappy all day with wind and snow showers so I did some equipment moving around on the mount. Basically I moved the receiver, the 5.4v regulator the camera switch, and the receiver toggled power switch over to the left side as the mount is seen from the front looking at the camera.

This is so that the camera will lean heavy on the left side, but when you fly the heli is going to lean right due to clockwise rotor rotation by about 4 degrees and I should in essence get a level picture with the horizon in flight. Its experimental to get the perfect balance I know, so I left "adjustment" in there by flipping the antenna of the video TX to the left side also and this way I can stick it down for less weight, or 45 degrees or straight 90 degrees out to the left for balance adjustment.

Will see how it manages next time around. I'm still waiting for my 12v regulator to finalize this thing but I tied all the wires nice and neat today and after I finished I weighted the whole setup. It checks in at 4 lbs 9.5oz with no batteries -- heavier than I expected but no problems for the gasser to lift.

Excalibur PM me your email and I'll forward you 3 emails with the photos. I'll have to sit down and upload stuff to RR, just haven't had the energy to do it just yet.

In Gallery
OK, I'm uploaded my first attempt at aerial photos up to my gallery. These were taken with a Sony DSC-V3 camera on "auto". I haven't experimented with camera settings yet and if you guys have suggesstions for this specific camera I'm all ears!

Enjoy everyone!

Hi Raja

Nice pictures, I don`t know anything about photography,
but I would say, for your first attempt, not bad at all.

Congrats with your "new hobby", keep em comming ,
not the hobbys, the pictures.
