Better resolution doesn't mean it is faster. It's more precise.

Ahaaa, so much to remember and learn still lol
Thanks for the clarification.
Honestly though, we are talking miliseconds difference in response.
Would the average pilot even notice?

For the love of the hobby

27.5 is faster then 36.2 (hence the DX7 is faster)

Why is DX7 faster than 9303? because of the number of channels ?

Thanks

Your talking ms and I doubt anyone can really tell a difference. It's more marketing IMO..."feeling more connected to your model" blah blah blah...

I noted no difference when I went from my FM 9303 to the DX7, but hey maybe I am slow

Sure on the bench it shows to be faster but in the air, nah. Someone might be running a "faster radio" with slower servos...etc.

I always find it funny when someone post that they noted some great performance increase going to a metal part or a .09 sec servo compared to a .12

Back To The Question
My question to guys who have used both the radios, is it worth spending $300 to upgrade to X9303?
Practically speaking the DX7 will serve you just fine as stated here in this thread.
BUT!!!!! the 9303 2.4 is a beauty of a radio and if you get into nitro you may want the extra channels for Govs etc. It's much easier to use than the DX7 and it has many more options. I also fly Trex 450's ,nitro and Gassers and a few planks
I bought one and it's by far the nicesst radio I have ever owned and should last me a long time. If you can afford it easily I say get one,if not stick with the DX7

Setup is everything, All my heli's can fly far better than I can pilot them

I thought the whole buying trend in the past year or so, was to

"USE ONLY WHAT SZABO USES"

Well.. Szabo uses a DX7. If you choose to use any piece of gear OTHER than what Szabo uses, sorry, but your gonna fly like crap.
That right there should tell you NOT to get the x9303.

Well, I fly like crap anyway, so I just orded my X9303 and sold my DX7.

I think about the hereafter. I go somewhere to get something, then wonder what I'm here after ?

The last I read (and things may have changed), Curtis Youngblood was using a JR 10X with a Spektrum module.

Well, no matter who uses X9303 and considering it is slower than DX7(that is a fact!) I love it. It looks better than the latter and easy to program too. I am not into competition, just want a decent and good looking radio which is also equipped with spectrum technology. One should be contented on what he have and what he can afford. As long as you are happy with it go for it. just my opinion.

According to the renowned Rick Scubends, the latency of the X9303 is tuned to the human response while the Dx7 is too fast resulting in a natural tendency to overcorrect. Wot a load of bollocks
