I have a 9z with the stock battery and it is about shot. I took the battery cube appart, noticed you cannot just plug a new one in. What do you do when the bats dead? Does anyone know of a lipo for this radio? Any help is appreciated..

you can buy a square transmitter pack and solder it to the small PCB.

there are a couple of places offering Lithium but they tend to be $$$

Duralite sells a drop in pack for the 9Z. A little pricey but more MAH's.

Yep, some did it with 3S lipo Tx packs also...

Duralite sells a drop in pack for the 9Z
Although they do offer the 9Z pack, you will need their own charging unit. As Hugo mentioned, you can (and it's been done) purchase a LiPo for the Tx and jsut have it soldered on. You'll probably have to also alter the circuitry board of the 9Z so that you'd be able to charge it directly.
