Yep, it sucks. San Diegans used to go there all the time to camp on the beaches, surf, ride ATV's on the dunes, and party. It was great. Thats all over, at least for a while. It's the end of an era because going to Mexico for vacation is a tradition for many San Diegans...

The govt is cracking down on the druglords and they are taking revenge.(or going into kidnapping which is easier money) I hope the military wipes those bastards out so we (and Mexico) can get back to normal.

I dont think the drug trade will be affected much though, we are creating too much demand here in the States...

You dont know Jack!!
This has been one of the best years in drug law enforcement of the century. If you dont think so, then go ask your local junky to quote you a single gram of rock cocaine. Its has tripled the price. That is why Meth is the next best thing in the USA.

By the way BREAKING BAD is a hillarious show.

PD: Regarding your quotes, you just belive anything the news says.

Yeah, I think I do know what the hell is going on. Have heard interviews from several people including a border agent who was involved in a standoff with Mexican military on the Texas border. And local junky have never been able to afford coke, thats why meth is so popular

I lived in SD for nearly my entire life. There really is little reason to go to Northern Mexico, it's filthy, and dangerous. It has been that way for years. When we were 18, we'd go down there to have a beer in TJ, but looking back it was stupid.

TJ is a pretty lawless town, the cops are paid really lousy, so they rely on bribes for an income.

40 years ago some close family members in their late teens decided to slip down to TJ from where we were vacationing in San Clemente to tie one on one night. As I recall, my uncle had to go down there the next day and spread a little dough around to get 'em out of 'jail'. Fortunately he knew how to dance that 'dance', or those boys might've been stuck there a LONG time.

That sort of criminal BS has been going on south of that border for a long, long time -- and they wonder why we react the way we do when they fly their flag above ours on a pole.
This has been one of the best years in drug law enforcement of the century.
Hence the moves to kidnappings and false jailings to make up for lost ground.

Is it me or does Mexico appear to present a bigger threat to national security then Iraq, Iran? Standoff with the Mexican army? If it was me, I'd call for reinforcements and start shooting. That entire country needs one big enema.

So darn funny. But sadly to say we have been overtaking you since the alamo very slowly but surely.

So whats the next state???.......idaho...nah, too cold, maybe oregon?, nah... there is nothing there.
I lived in SD for nearly my entire life.
Thats your main problem, you should try moving up further north. And if you all want to get a real taste of Mexico, travel further south and you will see what the real Mexico is all about. Boarder towns allways have been a problem. Just take a look at El Paso, Tx , thats where you keep all the sex offenders, and it is your boarder town.
Standoff with the Mexican army?
The USA Boarder Patrol has also shot across the river into Mexico, so please dont play dum!

Please don't take this personally, because I love the cooling fans you made for my TREX.
However, I have said it before and I will say it again: Living in Texas, I have no desire to travel to a place that is hotter and has more Mexicans than the place I live in now.

I did, I live in Montana now. I have traveled all the way down the into baja, and it was awesome. I don't want to live in a border town again though.

Not sure what you mean about El Paso though...only driven through it, and I thought it looked like TJ.

Tivo, I have nothing against you personally. But, after reading that, you have made it clear that you think you are entitled to our land.

The USA won that war. Texas declared it's independence from Mexico. The land that we received in the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo was paid for by the USA. It was purchased fair and square. And now Mexicans think they can just take it back? That's how wars start.

I consider the illegal Mexican aliens to be an invasion. If it persists, it is likely to result in another war. In case you haven't realized it, Mexicans are screwing with the most powerful nation on earth. Starting a new war with us would not be wise. It is not our government you need to fear. It is the American people. We will defend our land to the death.

Good luck with that

No offense taken
You are the ones that want chap labor to cut your grass, repair your cars, build your houses or offices, etc....... Not Me!!!!

We dont like wars, thats why we make you think we are your friends.

And FYI, im only entitle to what i buy with my hard earned money.
And my beautifull wife, which i pay for on a daily bases.
But the truth is she owns me, at the end of the day.

Sorry, you have me confused with somebody else. I cut my own grass, pay my car mechanic $56.00 an hour and if I ever see a Mexican working on one of my properties, i will ask to see proof of citizenship or a proper visa. If they cannot provide either, then I will escort them to my local police station, hopefully for deportation!
And FYI, im only entitle to what i buy with my hard earned money.
That's correct. Why don't you tell that to the Mexicans who think they are entitled to live in the USA free of charge?

The truth about La Raza
My point exactlly! Even if you are the most powerfull nation in the world(if able to dodge recession). Could you go to war with Mexico???

I think not!

About your mechanic, ask him if he has employed a Mexican, illegal or not? I can bet he has,l because he wants a little more profit, just like any other.

The Other Mexicans you talk about, they dont think they entitle to anything, they cross the boarder to work hard for their money. Its your laws that makes them use your services. No one lives free of charge. They earn less money and their employer earns more and pays more taxes. So at the end of the day its not a big deal. The big deal is that more than 40%(dont quote me on that) of the US population is uninsured. You should vote for hillary and then you get universal coverage. Also a large % of the Mexicans that go shopping in the US dont ask for return taxes. There you can find also a good amount of money that stays in the USA. Also the Mexicans living in the USA pay retail taxes and are not able to deduct anything like you can. So dont think that its a Frebee. I know its not fully paid also but its in between.

Im an MD, and i see a lot of Imigrants for medical reasons back here in Mexico. Because its chaper and we have a more warmth doctor/patient relationships, and thats what they like.

So at the end of the day i get your Dollars.

Not as many as you think, and less from now on, no doubt.
