HDX 3800 kv motor, 10 tooth pinion, on Megapower 1350 mAh 15C packs I can go up to 8 1/2 minutes sport flying in warm weather and I'm right at the magic 80% point. I set the timer on the TX for 7 min 30 seconds to be a bit kinder to the packs.

Cold weather I'll see 1 - 2 minutes less flying time depending on just how cold it is outside. Walking out of the warm house to less than 30* F, is about 5 1/2 minutes before hitting 80% discharge.

I've got a couple 1500mAh Hong Kong specials on the way (around $9.25 each!), it will be interesting to see how good these super cheap Lipo packs really are...

These... http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2x-1500mAh-15...1QQcmdZViewItem

Along with a full set (head and tail) of spare purple parts for the King2 for $50, that's $30 less than I paid for just the rotor head set.

I never have a problem waiting for parts, I could build another heli just from my spare parts stash

Those are the exact ones I was looking at. You will have to let us know what they are like when you receive them.

I actually went with something similar:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/2x-11-1v-1500...4QQcmdZViewItem

As far as flight times, this remains to be seen as they haven't shown up yet. This is my first trail of using HK guys to get stuff. We shall see.

I got the same thing JCunny won them for $2 with $15 shipping great deal. So far so good 30 0r 40 flights just that pack gets a little warmer than my megapowers did. But I have switched to the cellpro revolution N-Series packs and WOW. They are way better than cheapies but a little expensive.

As far as flight times a lot depends on how your machine is setup and how well things are lubed all the bearings from china are dry oiling alone can give you another minute or two.

300HDX3800rpm outrunner 10t pinion

1350mah megapower 6min safely 7min overdischarged $27
1500mah china cheapy 7min safely 7.5 overdischarged $2
2100mah Cellpro revolution N-series 10min safely 12min overdischarged. $50

yes I have overdischarged all three to 9% above are my findings.

Tryan

What type of flying for these durations?

Hovering with gentle figure 8's I get 12.5 Min's on a Flight-Power EVO1800 and 15.5 min on a 2100. Neither over-discharged.

HBK2, IceCold 450R35-F Brush-less motor, Align 35A ESC set at 70%.

those were just my results on a well oiled free movin machine. I am a little heavy 1.1lbs on 1500mah pack. As for my type of flying idleup 75% midstick from takeoff too landing but I usually rate my packs at hover cause just sittin their walllowing around sucks up more battery than FF. weather wise cold windy hot sunny whatever.

Wow Stocky, Nice chart . I heard that where only three actual manufacturers of the LI-PO cells and different companies just slap their labels on them I am NOT sure if that is true or NOT.

If you go to http://www.progressiverc.com/Research.html
There are the same price tables for 1S Lipo's through 15S Lipos, Transmitters, Gyro's, servo's, RX, ESC's, and more.
