Wanted! Pyramid Power Supply
Ok I am looking for a power supply that can handle charging a 6s 2200 pack at 2C. I just bought a 500w computer power supply (12v 28amp) but it still is not enough. So if you have a Pyramid power supply you want to sell please let me know.
I am using the HYPERION EOS0610I charger.

Thanks,
Duane

dizz,
Did you mod that 12v 28amp right? You shouldn't have a problem at all using that supply to charge at 4A. My guess is that you need a larger load on the 5v rail.

Duane,

I don`t see what the problem is here. If you`re charging a 6S (22.2 volt) pack that is only 2200mah in capacity, then a 12V power supply capable of only 8.8 amps should be enough to charge those packs at 2C.

Something else other than your power supply appears to be your problem. Perhaps your charger has a safety limit on the lipo charge rate - a limit that will not let you charge at 2C perhaps?

After doing some tests, this one has some issues. I get 12.3V but it drops under 7v as soon as any charger kicks in.

Now just looking for a Pyramid power supply.
