Camt10 I am an electrician for 35years, just made large changes to my home including 35 lightolier hi-hats. Where the was areas that the fixtures were exposed to ouside elements (enclosed unheated attic space) I used the IC cans, in the same room, where they were not exposed i used the same fixtures but not IC'S, saving about $25 dollars per fixture. IC fixtures are important for saving money with unwarranted heat loss to attic areas as well as not having a problem with condensation on trims when cold attic and heated areas meet.

For some reason I miss the part where the helicopter information comes in. For some reason people are posting off topic stuff in the helicopter section.
