Its just so incredible. I have been out of this hobby for a little over a year, I had sold my fully upgraded Trex, Falcon 46, and 9CHP because I was so busy w ith school and I just didn't have the time to fly. I just decided to check up on the "state of things" in the hobby and saw a Honey Bee King 2 RTF for $126

I remember getting into this hobby when I was in high school (2000) and $1000 was your minimum entrance fee. $126 is pretty cheap for RTR. I could justify buying it even if I didn't get to fly it that much.

Make it idiot-proof, and someone will make a better idiot

In some ways living in the States must be great. In the UK we are ripped off when it comes to most things/hobbies. When I bought a TT Raptor Titan I had to buy Carbon blades as an extra, this that and the other as 'extras'.

When I was in Florida not so long ago on holiday, I went into quite a few model shops and was surprised to see the kits for the US market often contain carbon blades as standard, as well as other parts sold her as 'extras'.

The heli' you've found here looks great for that sort of cash, I've yet to do a search in the UK for that model but, I'd be surprised if it were the same spec' and same price.

I like to spend everyday as though it were my last; in bed drifting in and out of consciousness!

the esky king2 is a nice little 300 size heli. much nicer and more stable, not to mention more durable, than the comparable size blade cp and axe cp (plus no tail motor) but it does have a couple issues that have to be addressed.

the stock brushed motor/esc are not great and should be upgraded to brushless, the belt tends to slide off the guides in hard manuevers (simple cheap fixes out there) and the cog is off (tail heavy) but once you get it running good you have a great little stable heli.
